Hollywood Hair Cut

Hollywood Hair Cut has been sitting here on Birring Road for quite a while now. The shop is not anything fancy, but it gets the job done when someone needs a trim or a shave. Being located right near the corner of Mehnga Road means it gets pretty busy on the weekends, especially when the weather is nice and people are out walking around Jalandhar Cantt. Inside the shop, we have those old-style chairs that have seen a lot of use over the many years we have been open. The floor is usually covered in bits of hair by mid-morning because there is always a steady stream of people coming in. We keep the ceiling fans running all day to help with the heat, though sometimes they just move the warm air around. Most of the people who come in here are just regular folks from around the neighborhood who we see every few weeks. It is a simple place with mirrors that maybe need a better wipe down now and then, but you can see yourself well enough. We have some old magazines on the small table that are probably out of date, but nobody seems to mind reading them while they wait their turn. My hands are usually busy with the scissors or the clippers from the moment we pull up the shutters. It is noisy outside with the bikes and the local traffic, but inside it is just the sound of the machines.
