Lakx Unisex Salon Matrix is up on the first floor of 206-L in Model Town. If you know where the KFC is in Jalandhar, we are right near there. It’s a popular spot, so there is always something going on outside on the street. We handle hair for both men and women, which keeps us pretty busy throughout the week. The shop is a bit more modern than some others, but we still keep it down to earth. We use Matrix products mostly, as the name suggests. It isn't a massive hall, but there is enough room for a few chairs and a waiting area. We try to keep the music at a decent volume so people can still talk. Working in Model Town means we see a lot of different people, from college kids to older folks who have lived here forever. Sometimes we get a bit backed up on Saturdays, so it’s always a bit of a scramble. We don’t really do big advertisements or anything. Most people just walk in because they were eating nearby or they heard about us from a neighbor. The mirrors are large and the lighting is bright so we can see what we are doing. We just focus on the job at hand. It’s a straightforward business. We show up, cut hair, and go home. Jalandhar is a good place to be for a salon like ours because people really care about how they look.
