Sriraam Modern Rice Mill

Our mill is right at the Jalandhar Bye-Pass Chowk, sitting just off the G.T. Road. It is a noisy spot because of all the traffic passing by, but it makes it easy for the trucks to get in and out. Sriraam Modern Rice Mill has been operating here for some time. We spend our days dealing with bags of rice, the machines, and the dust that comes with it. It’s a lot of physical work. We have to keep an eye on the machinery to make sure everything is running like it should. Sometimes a belt breaks or something jams, and we have to stop and fix it right there. The G.T. Road is always busy, so there is never a quiet moment outside. Inside, it's all about the grain. We aren't some giant corporation with a lobby; it's just a working mill. You'll usually find us covered in a bit of dust by the end of the shift. We get the rice in, process it, and get it ready to go back out on the trucks. It’s a straightforward business, really. We don’t spend much time on computers or fancy talk. We just focus on the mill and making sure the work gets done. If you pass the bypass, you’ve probably seen our building. It’s a landmark for us, and we like being right where the action is on the highway. We’ve got a good crew here who knows the machines well.
