Smm Rice Mill

Smm Rice Mill is right there on G.T Road. You can't miss us if you are near the old bus stand. We are directly opposite the flyover. It gets really loud with the traffic coming off the bridge. The mill has been at this spot for quite some time now. Dealing with rice means things get a bit messy with the husks and everything, but that's how it is. We start the machines early in the morning. Sometimes the trucks have a hard time turning in because of how busy G.T Road is. Being near the old bus stand means there's always people walking by. We see a lot of commuters every day. The flyover casts a bit of a shadow over the front area in the afternoons. We handle the local grain that comes in. It’s a lot of manual labor, lifting bags and making sure the mill stays running right. The office is just a small room at the front. It’s not a polished place, just a working rice mill. We spend most of our time out on the floor. If you're coming from the other side of town, just look for the flyover. We’ve lived with the sound of the G.T Road traffic for years now. It’s just part of the day at Smm Rice Mill. We don't have a big sign, but everyone knows where the old bus stand is. It’s just a regular local business we run here.
