Shimla Hair Studio Unisex Salon Groom Yourself is located on Hoshiarpur Road at the Kishanpura Chowk in Jalandhar City. We are very close to Joshi Bakery, which means we can always smell the fresh cakes and biscuits being baked throughout the day. Our salon is a unisex place, so we have all sorts of people coming in for different things. Kishanpura Chowk is one of those busy intersections in Jalandhar where there is always something going on, so it’s never quiet outside our door. Inside, we have a few chairs for haircuts and a couple of separate areas for other grooming services. We call it Groom Yourself because that’s the main thing we do—we help people look a bit neater before they go back out into the city. We have a mix of staff here, and we all stay pretty busy from the time we open until we close the shutters at night. The weekends are especially packed with people getting ready for weddings or parties. We don't have any fancy corporate rules; we just try to be decent and do a good job for whoever sits in the chair. It’s a friendly atmosphere where people feel okay just being themselves. We have the usual hair dryers and clippers going, and someone is always sweeping the floor to keep the place tidy. It’s just a normal, everyday salon on a busy street in Jalandhar, and we are happy to be part of the neighborhood.
