New Friends Hair Dresser

New Friends Hair Dresser is sitting in Shop No. 3 at Golden Avenue Phase 2 in Jalandhar. It is a nice part of town, quite clean and near the chowk. I have been cutting hair for a long time and decided to stay here because the people in this neighborhood are friendly. The shop is small but we have everything a man needs for a good shave or a haircut. We have those old-style barber chairs that are actually quite comfortable once you sit down. I keep my scissors sharp and the combs clean in a jar of liquid. Mostly, it is just me and another person working here. We see a lot of guys from the offices nearby and some students too. The talk is usually about cricket or the weather in Punjab. Sometimes we put the radio on, but usually, it is just the sound of the scissors. I don't like to rush my work. A haircut takes the time it takes to look right. The floor gets covered in hair quickly, so I am always sweeping it up between customers. It is a simple business. We don't have a big fancy sign, just the name on the glass. People know us because we have been in Golden Avenue for years. If you are coming from the chowk, we are very easy to find. It is a good place to sit for thirty minutes and get cleaned up.
