M/S Doaba Steel Rolling Mill

Our mill is located right across from H.M.V. College in Jalandhar City. We are in Satnam Nagar, specifically at 772/2, near the New Grain Market. It’s a busy area, always filled with the sound of trucks and the movement of goods. Being near the grain market means there’s constant activity from early morning. Our space is industrial and functional. We have the machinery for rolling steel, and it’s a noisy, hot environment when everything is running. There is dust and the smell of metal everywhere, which is just part of the job. We have a small office section where we keep the records and handle the orders. It’s not a place for suits or fancy meetings. We wear work clothes and usually have grease on our hands. The team has been together for years, so we don’t need to say much to get things moving. We just know the routine. In the winter, Jalandhar gets quite cold, so we huddle around the tea stall nearby during breaks. In the summer, it’s the opposite. We’ve been part of this industrial community for a long time. We just focus on the steel and making sure the loads are ready when they need to be. It’s hard work, but it’s what we do. No frills, just the mill and the daily grind of production every single day.
