Modren Hair Stylist

Modren Hair Stylist is located in the Lasuri Mohalla area of Basti Danishmandan in Jalandhar. We are right near the Kala Property Dealer, so we are not too hard to find if you know the neighborhood. Even though the name says "Modren," we are actually a very old-fashioned kind of hair shop. We have been in this same spot for a lot of years. The street outside is usually full of bikes and people walking to the market. Inside the shop, it is mostly just us working and the customers chatting about whatever is going on in Jalandhar that day. We have the big heavy chairs that have been here forever and long mirrors that cover the wall. We spend a lot of our time sweeping up the floor because hair gets everywhere. It is just me and a couple of others working here. We don't do anything fancy like hair coloring or special treatments. People just come in for a standard cut or a shave. We don't have a computer or a booking system, so you just walk in and see if a chair is free. During the winters it gets quite cold, so we keep the door shut, but in the summer we leave it wide open to get a little air. Most of our customers are like friends because we have known them for so long. It is just a simple, honest business in a busy part of town.
