Cutting Crew

We are tucked away in Baba Buddha Ji Enclave over in Dakoha. If you know where the Ravidas Ji Gurudwara is, we are right near there. It’s a good spot in Jalandhar. The shop isn't huge, just a few chairs and some mirrors that have been there since we opened. We’ve been cutting hair for the folks around here for a good bit now. Most days there is a bit of a wait, but people just sit and chat on the wooden bench while they stay for their turn. We don’t have a fancy website or any of that. Most people just walk in off the street. The floor gets covered in hair pretty fast, so we’re always sweeping with the old broom. It’s just part of the daily job. Jalandhar 144023 is a busy area, but our little corner feels a bit more relaxed than the main road. We use the same old scissors and clippers we’ve always liked. They feel right in the hand after all these years. Sometimes the radio is on playing local songs, sometimes it’s just the sound of the fans humming. We don’t do anything too crazy with the styles, just what people ask for when they sit down. It's a place where you can get a trim and forget about the outside for a minute. The coffee is usually okay if we remember to make a fresh pot. We see the same faces every month, which is nice.
