Arif Unisex Salon

Arif Unisex Salon is located upstairs at 404/ L, right above K Sons in Jalandhar City. We are in the Model Town area, which is usually buzzing with people, especially since we’re right across from Parkash Bakery. Sometimes the smell of fresh bread from across the street drifts up here while we’re working. Since we are on the upper floor, it’s a bit quieter than being right on the sidewalk, but we still see everything happening below. The shop has a few chairs and plenty of mirrors where we spend our hours cutting and styling hair. It’s a relaxed kind of place where customers feel okay just sitting around and chatting. We’ve got a mix of people coming in, from students to older folks who’ve lived in Jalandhar forever. The stairs can be a bit steep, so we always tell people to watch their step on the way up. We don’t go in for big displays or bright lights; it’s just a normal salon with the usual tools of the trade. Sometimes the music is a bit loud, but it keeps the energy up during a long shift. We spend a lot of time cleaning up after a busy Saturday. It’s just us here, doing what we know how to do in a spot that feels like home. Being in Model Town means there’s always something going on outside our windows, and we like being part of that.
