Ninl,Duburi,Orissa

We are located in Duburi, over in the Jajpur district. It’s a heavy industrial area. If you know Orissa, you know how hot it gets out here near the steel plants. We are part of the Ninl setup in Rachhipur. The dust from the works is everywhere. You can’t escape it no matter how much you clean. We spend our days dealing with the daily grind of industrial life. It’s not a place for fancy clothes or clean shoes. Everyone wears heavy boots and work gear. The landscape is mostly gray and brown with all the trucks moving around constantly. We are at 755019 if you are looking at the map. It’s a long way from the big cities like Bhubaneswar, but there is a lot of activity here. We handle what needs to be done for the company without much fuss. The canteen food is okay, mostly dal and rice with some pickles, which is what we live on. Most of us have been here for years and we know the routine by heart. The sounds of the machinery never really stop. It’s a constant hum in the background of every conversation we have in the office. We just keep our heads down and do the work. The sun is really something else in the afternoons. You just drink a lot of water and keep going. It’s a tough place to be but it’s our place.
