Skj Agrifoodventures Private Limited is run by Girija Sankar Patra. We are located in Narasinghpur, which is under the Haripur Hat post office. If you are coming our way, it's via Kabirpur and the Kuakhia police station. We are in Jajpur district, 755009. It sounds like a lot of directions but once you are in Jajpur it's not hard to find us. We deal with agrifood ventures, mostly looking at how to move local produce around. The office is just a small place in the village area. We don't have air conditioning or fancy furniture. There is usually a lot of noise from the local market nearby. We like being part of the Narasinghpur community. Everyone knows where we are if they need help with their food business. We don't spend money on advertising or anything like that. Word of mouth is how we get most of our work done. Sometimes the roads get muddy during the monsoon, which makes it hard for trucks to get in. We just wait it out and do what we can. My family has been in this area for generations, so starting a business here felt right. We are just a group of people trying to make the food supply work better in this part of Orissa. It's not glamorous, but it’s important work for us. We stay busy during harvest time especially. There is always someone coming by with a question.
