Jajati Fpo Private Limited started out because we saw how much struggle there was in Jajpur Town. We are based out of Baishnab Charan Jena’s place in Mirchandpur. It’s a familiar spot for most of us around here. We deal with the local crops and try to figure out the best way to get things to the market. Being in Orissa, the weather is always a gamble. We spend a lot of time sitting on the porch talking about the rising costs of everything. We aren't trying to be some massive company, just a small group from Jajpur-755001. Some days we are busy with the trucks, other days we are just waiting for the harvest. It’s a lot of manual labor and simple math. We don't use any fancy software, just notebooks and a bit of patience. Most of us have been farming since we were kids. This FPO is just a way to put our heads together. My neighbor helps with the accounts when he has time. It gets dusty in the summer and muddy in the monsoon, but that’s just life here. We try to keep things straightforward and don’t overcomplicate the work. If you come by Mirchandpur, you’ll see us working near the old road. It’s just how we get things done. No big promises, just daily work and looking out for each other. We usually gather around the small table in the main room to go over the numbers. It’s not always pretty, but having this company helps us stand our ground. We’re just trying to do our part in Orissa.
