Maa Ramachandi Farmers Producer Companylimited

Out here in Chadaiguan, things move a bit slower, which is fine by us. We are the Maa Ramachandi group. Most of us have been farming in Mahakalapada for our whole lives. We decided to put our names together as a producer company because it is hard to get things done solo. Our office is right here in the village. It is not a place with air conditioning or fancy desks. Just a room where we sit and talk about the rice or whatever else is currently in the ground. Sometimes we meet under the shade of a tree if it is too hot inside. Everyone knows everyone else in this part of town. If you walk through Chadaiguan, you will probably see one of us working in the mud. We do not have a big marketing team or anything like that. We just talk to the other farmers and see what they need help with. Some days are long, especially when the rains are late or the sun is too hot. We try to figure out the best way to move the produce to the bigger towns without it spoiling. It is mostly about making sure the hard work we do in the fields does not go to waste. We share some tools when someone’s tractor is down or they need an extra hand. It is all very practical stuff. No one is getting rich quick, but we are managing. We just want to keep the farms going.
