Our business, Anand Raj Tour & Campening, is based right inside Hotel City Heart. Our location is very close to Salim Singh Ki Haveli, which is one of those famous old buildings that everyone comes to see when they are in Jaisalmer. Being near such a historical spot is quite nice for us. We have been running our tours and camping trips from this hotel for a few years now. It is a small operation, and we don't have any big corporate goals or fancy mission statements. We just want to provide a decent experience for the people who come to stay with us or find us through the hotel lobby. Most of our day is spent talking to guests and organizing trips out to the desert dunes. We don't use marketing slogans or try to act like we are the biggest agency in town. We are just a few people who know the desert well and like sharing it with others who are visiting. The office is part of the hotel, so it feels very friendly and relaxed for everyone. You can just stop by and have a chat about what you want to do while you are in Jaisalmer. We give honest advice about where to go and what to see around the fort. If the weather isn't right for camping, we will be the first to tell you to wait a day. We value our reputation here in the neighborhood. It is a simple life of driving and camping, and it suits us very well.
