Rajasthan Tourism has its office over on Gadi Sagar Road. If you are visiting Jaisalmer, you probably already know the way down to the lake. We are right on that main stretch of road. Our office stays busy most days because of where we are located. We have been in this spot for a long time helping people figure out their way around the city and the rest of the state too. It is a very simple setup we have here. We do not use big words or fancy marketing to get people to come in. Most of the travelers just drop by while they are walking down toward the water. Jaisalmer 345001 is a small enough town that everyone knows where Gadi Sagar Road is. We keep regular hours for the most part. The staff here are all locals who grew up seeing the fort and the sand every day. We talk to people from all over the world. It gets a bit noisy sometimes with the traffic and the horns outside, but that is just part of the job. We have some maps and basic papers with information on them. You will not find anything too polished or corporate in our office. We just try to answer questions when people come to us. It is a plain space with some desks and chairs for waiting. We are just part of the local scene near the lake.
