We are actually located right on the fort in Jaisalmer, at 182 Tevata Para. It is quite a unique spot to have a business because you are surrounded by these massive old walls and history every single day. The streets up here are narrow and can be a bit of a maze for someone who hasn't been here before. Our agency is a small one, and we handle all kinds of travel arrangements for people visiting the city. We don't have a big, polished office with glass doors. It’s just an old room with thick stone walls that keep it a little cooler during the hot afternoons. We spend a lot of time talking to folks who are just wandering around the fort and need some help with their next destination. It’s a busy life, especially during the winter when there are tourists everywhere. We just try to give people the right information and help them book their buses or trains. We don’t do any fancy promotions or anything like that. Most of our work comes from people just seeing our sign as they walk through Tevata Para. Sometimes the internet connection on the fort is a bit patchy, so we do things the old-fashioned way with pen and paper. It’s just a normal local shop doing its best to help people get where they need to go. We are usually around if you need anything.
