Mumal Tours & Desert Safari

Our place is situated on Amar Sagar Road, right in the Amar Sagar area of Jaisalmer. We focus mainly on desert safaris and tours for people who want to see what the desert is really like. It is a lot of work to keep things running smoothly. We have to look after the jeeps and make sure all the equipment is in good shape for the trips. The office is a basic building where we sit and wait for customers to come in. We don't have a big staff, it is mostly family and a few local guys who know the dunes like the back of their hands. Jaisalmer is a beautiful place, but it can be tough to work in when the sun is beating down. We spend our mornings getting everything ready and our evenings talking to people who have just come back from the sands. We don't believe in using fancy sales pitches. We just tell people what the trip involves and what they should bring along. Sometimes the jeeps need repairs or the weather is too rough to go out, so we have to stay on our toes and change plans. It is a simple life and we are happy with it. Most of the people who come to us find out about us by just walking past the shop on Amar Sagar Road. We’re always here if you want to talk about the desert or book a ride out.
