Shop No 2 in Vaishali Nagar. If you know where Jodhpur Sweets is, we are right behind it. Jaipur can get very hot so the shop is a good place to hide from the sun. We’ve been at this spot for a bit. It’s a small shop but it works for what we do. Vaishali Nagar is always moving, lots of traffic and people walking. Being behind the sweet shop means it smells like sugar sometimes. Customers usually find us after they get their snacks. We have a few chairs and mirrors. Nothing out of the ordinary. It’s just me and a couple of others usually. We handle the hair and the thread work. Some days are slow, especially when it rains. But usually, someone is popping in for something quick. The address is 302021 if you’re looking at a map. Jaipur is a big city but this corner feels like home to us. We try to keep things simple. No big signs or flashing lights. Just the shop name on the front. People in Vaishali Nagar are busy so they want things done without a lot of fuss. We open up in the morning and stay until the evening. The floor needs sweeping a lot because of the hair. That’s just part of the job. It’s a steady life here behind Jodhpur Sweets. We like the neighborhood and the people who live around here.
