Yashikas

Yashikas is located at number 15 near Imli Phatak on Tonk Road. It is a very busy area, and the noise from the main road never really stops. You can hear the trains passing by quite often since the tracks are so close. Our shop is a simple place where we do our daily business. We don't have any big posters or neon lights. We just have a clear sign so people can find the door. The interior is functional with some basic shelving and a counter that has been here as long as we have. We see a lot of people every day because of the location. Some are just passing through on their way to work, while others are neighbors we have known for years. We keep the place open six days a week. On rainy days, the water tends to splash up from the road, so we have to keep the front tidy. We don't use any complicated systems for our work. We just write things down and make sure everything is in order before we close up for the night. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded inside, but we manage. It’s a small operation, and we like it that way. We don’t have to worry about corporate rules or long meetings. We just show up and do what needs to be done.
