Bharti Telecom is tucked into Indira Bazar at shop G-87. If you know the market, you know it’s a tight squeeze with a lot of people pushing past. Our shop is small but we fit a lot into it. We mostly deal with mobile phones, recharges, and all those little accessories people lose or break. It’s a lot of talking all day. Customers come in with phones that won't turn on or they need a new SIM card. We do our best to help them out right there. The shelves are lined with cases and cables. It’s a bit bright inside because of the lights, but it’s comfortable enough. We’ve been in Indira Bazar long enough to see shops come and go. G-87 is our little corner of the world. Some days are slow and we just sit and watch the crowds go by, but usually, it's pretty steady. We don't have a big staff, just a couple of us who know where everything is. You learn a lot about people working in a phone shop. Everyone is in a hurry these days. We try to work fast so they can get back to their day. It’s not a complicated business, just staying on top of what people need for their devices. We don't use fancy systems, just a notebook and some patience. It’s a good spot to be in the middle of everything.
