Vodafone Store

The Vodafone Store here in Malviya Nagar is where I spend most of my time. It’s a busy part of town, so there’s always someone coming in with a problem or a question. Most of the day is spent looking at phone screens, trying to figure out why a SIM card isn’t working or explaining the different data plans to people who find them confusing. We have a small counter and a few chairs for people to sit while they wait, but it gets crowded pretty fast in the evenings. It’s not like a big corporate office, it’s just a local branch where we try to help out the folks living nearby. We deal with a lot of paperwork and digital forms, which can be a bit tedious sometimes. Malviya Nagar has a lot of energy, and being right in the middle of it means we see all sorts of people. Some are in a huge rush, and others just want to sit and talk while their phone updates. We don't have any fancy mission statements or anything like that. We just come in, open the shutters, and start answering the phones and helping the customers who walk through the door. It’s a lot of troubleshooting and staying patient when the network is acting up. By the time we close at night, my eyes are usually pretty tired from looking at all the small text on the forms.
