Vishal Mobile

You can find Vishal Mobile at G 19 in Indira Bazar, right in the middle of all the chaos. This part of the city is always moving, and my shop is just a tiny part of it. I’ve got counters filled with all sorts of mobile accessories, from cheap headphones to the expensive ones that last a bit longer. It’s a narrow space, so I have to be very organized, or I’ll never find anything in the back. My neighbor sells shoes, and we usually share a pot of tea around four o'clock. The walls are covered with posters for different mobile networks that have been there for years and are starting to peel at the edges. I don't mind it, though, as it gives the place a bit of character. People come in with cracked screens and look so sad, and it feels good when I can hand it back to them looking like new again. The hours are long, from ten in the morning until nine at night, and my back usually aches by the time I get home. Indira Bazar has its own rhythm, and you get used to the shouting of the street vendors and the smell of street food nearby. It’s just a regular mobile shop doing regular work for the local folks. We don't have a website or anything, just the shop door that's always open.
