Vikas Transformers

Vikas Transformers is located at S 7 on Ajmer Road, right in the Sodala Shyam Nagar area. It’s a busy spot with lots of traffic passing by. We work on transformers, mostly repairs and some assembly. The workshop is full of copper wire, oil, and heavy metal casings. It’s heavy work, and our clothes usually have a bit of grease on them by lunchtime. We’ve been here at this address for several years now. People bring in units that have burnt out or just need maintenance. It’s a lot of manual labor, checking circuits and winding coils. The noise of the machinery is something we’ve gotten used to. Sometimes the rain makes it hard to move the bigger units outside. We have a small team of guys who know their way around electricity. It's not a polished showroom; it's a working shop. We keep our tools on big wooden benches. Some days are slow, and we just clean up the space, and other days we have more work than we can handle. We just take it as it comes. Being on Ajmer Road means people can find us easily enough, though parking is always a bit of a problem near S 7. We just do our job and keep things running. It is practical work for the local electrical needs. We focus on the metal and the wires.
