Crystal Electronics

Down in Malviya Industrial Area at 27 F, that is where we spend our days. The shop is filled with the smell of warm solder and old dust. We have shelves that go all the way to the ceiling, mostly packed with spare parts, old monitors, and boxes of wires that we haven't sorted through in a while. It’s a bit cramped in here, especially when we have a lot of items waiting for repair. The worktables are always cluttered with screwdrivers, multimeters, and little bits of copper. We don't really have a reception desk; customers just walk in and put their broken gadgets on the counter. Most of the time we are hunched over a circuit board under a magnifying lamp. It’s quiet work, except for the occasional beep from a machine or the sound of the ceiling fan. The light isn't great, but we’re used to it. Malviya Industrial Area is a busy part of the city, so there’s always people coming and going. We’ve been at this spot for a long time. Some days are slow and we just sit and drink tea, while other days we have more work than we can handle. We don't have a fancy website or a big sign outside. Just the name Crystal Electronics on the door. It’s just us doing what we know how to do, fixing things one at a time until the sun goes down and we can finally lock up.
