It is a regular neighborhood street with families living nearby and other small shops dotted around. Our place is filled with electronic parts and tools, so it might look a bit cluttered if you are just passing by. We spend our days at the workbenches, usually with a soldering iron in hand or a multimeter. It is a lot of quiet, focused work. We don't have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to handle these things. The shop gets a lot of natural light in the morning, which helps when you are looking at tiny circuits. Later in the day, we switch on the overhead lights. We don't have a fancy waiting area, just a single wooden chair near the counter. Most people don't mind waiting a few minutes while we finish up a task. We usually have a small fan going during the summer because it gets quite warm inside with all the equipment running. We aren't part of some big company; we are just local guys who understand electronics. Sometimes we get parts that are hard to find, so we have boxes stashed in every corner. It works for us. We know where everything is even if it looks messy.
