Vikas Mobile Point

Out here in Pratap Nagar Sector 8, we’ve been running Vikas Mobile Point for a while now. We are tucked into building number 5 right near Tonk Road, which is always busy with people heading in and out of the city. Phones are funny things, they break when you least expect it or the battery just gives up. We see a lot of cracked screens and people who forgot their passwords. It’s a small shop, not much room to move around if more than three people come in at once. We spend most of the day hunched over a workbench with small screwdrivers and tweezers. The lights are bright so we can see the tiny parts inside the mobiles. It can be frustrating when a part doesn't fit right or a repair takes longer than we told the customer, but we just keep at it. Tonk Road is always noisy, so there’s a constant background of engines and people shouting. We keep a stack of screen guards and covers on the wall to pass the time between the bigger repair jobs. It’s just a regular local spot where people from the sector stop by to get their data recharged or ask why their phone is acting slow. We aren't trying to be the biggest shop around, just the one that’s open when you need a quick fix near home. It keeps us on our toes every single day.
