We are located at the Main Bus Stand in Paota, specifically in the Kotputli Bazar area. Being near the bus stand means there’s always a lot of dust and noise from the buses coming and going. Our agency handles different types of oils and we’ve been here for quite some time now. It’s a practical kind of place with barrels and containers stacked up everywhere. The floor sometimes gets a bit slippery if we aren’t careful with the pouring. We serve a lot of the local shops and people from the surrounding villages who come into Paota for their supplies. It’s a lot of heavy lifting and moving stuff around on trolleys. We don't have a fancy office, just a small corner with a ledger and a pen where we keep track of everything. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoons, so it gets quite warm inside. We usually have some tea around four o’clock and watch the buses pull in. It’s a steady rhythm of work. Some days are busier than others, especially when a big shipment arrives and we have to get it all organized. We know most of the drivers and the other shopkeepers around the Kotputli Bazar. It’s just the way life is here. We focus on getting the orders right and making sure the containers are sealed tight before they leave our shop. It’s greasy work, but it pays the bills and keeps us connected to the town.
