Chugh & Bhatia Industries

Chugh & Bhatia Industries is based at E 227(D) on Vkia Road No 9 E. Being situated in the Vishwakarma Industrial Area means we are right in the middle of all the heavy manufacturing in Jaipur. It is a very different atmosphere than the markets in the city. Here, it is all about the sound of metal hitting metal and the constant hum of machines. Our unit is a practical workspace where we focus on getting the production done. It is not a place for show; it is a factory floor where we spend our long hours. The road outside, Road No 9 E, is often dusty and filled with large trucks that make it hard to even walk across the street. We have a small area for our desk work and paperwork, but mostly I am out there with the workers seeing that everything is running the way it should. It gets very hot inside during the summer months because of the tin roof and the heat from the machines. We deal with other businesses and suppliers rather than the general public, so we do not have a storefront or a display window. It is a straightforward industrial life. We focus on making our products and keeping our machines in good repair so we do not have to stop work. We have been here for a good number of years and have seen the industrial area grow and change. It is just hard, daily work in a noisy and busy part of town. (259 words)
