Maheshwari Udyog

We’ve been here at 41 Surajpole Mandi Road for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot, especially in the mornings when the trucks start rolling in. People know us as Maheshwari Udyog, and mostly we just focus on getting through the daily list of things that need doing. It gets a bit dusty around here with all the trade going on, but that’s just part of the job. Some days are slower than others, which is when we catch up on some tea or talk to the neighbors. We don’t have any fancy office or anything like that. Just a straightforward place where we handle our work. The traffic on Mandi Road can be a real headache sometimes, but you get used to the noise. We started out small and stayed that way, just keeping things moving. Usually, someone is always around if you drop by, unless it's lunch time or a particularly hot afternoon. We don't really do much advertising. People just find us or they’ve been coming here for years. It's an old building, nothing special to look at, but it works for what we need. We keep the registers and the stock piles in order, or at least we try to. It’s hard work, and the days feel long when the sun is out, but it’s what we do. Not much else to say really, we just keep the doors open and do our bit. Anyway, that's pretty much the whole story.
