Vijay Laxmi Mobile

Vijay Laxmi Mobile is tucked away in VKIA on Street No 17. Being in an industrial area means most of our customers are workers from the nearby factories who drop in during their lunch break or after their shift ends. The shop isn't very large, but we keep it stocked with the basics that people actually need. We do a lot of recharges and fix a lot of broken screens that happen on the job. The street outside is usually full of dust and heavy vehicles moving parts around, so we have to wipe the glass counters down pretty often. It’s just how things are in this part of town. We’ve been here long enough that we know most of the guys who walk past every day. Sometimes they just stop by to say hello or ask for the time. We don't use any fancy systems to track things; it’s mostly just notebooks and memory. The work keeps us on our toes because everyone is usually in a hurry to get their phone back. We try to work fast but sometimes the parts take a day or two to arrive. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living, and we like being part of the noise and hustle of the industrial zone. There’s always something happening on Street 17, even if it’s just another truck trying to make a tight turn. We keep the doors open until the last shift change is over.
