United Transformers

United Transformers is situated in the VKIA area on Road No 9, specifically at G-687 A. It’s a dusty part of town, and the main road is always full of heavy vehicles and cranes. Inside our unit, we spend most of our time dealing with copper wire and heavy steel cores. It’s not the kind of work you can ever do with clean hands. We have a few guys who have been working with us for years, and we all just know the daily routine without having to talk much. The hum of the testing equipment is the background noise of our lives. We don't have a fancy showroom or a secretary waiting at the front door. If someone comes by, they usually just find us on the shop floor covered in work. We keep the spare parts in wooden crates stacked up high against the back wall. Sometimes the power goes out, and we all just sit outside on the stone steps until it comes back on again. It gives us a rare chance to talk about things other than work and parts. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in this city. We just want to finish the current batch of work and get it shipped out to the customers. The office is just a corner with a fan that makes a constant clicking sound. It’s a simple and honest way to make a living.
