Ujala Seeds

You can find us over in Raja Park, specifically down Gali Number 4. We are pretty close to the Uco Bank, so most people use that as a landmark when they are trying to find the shop for the first time. It is a narrow street and parking can be a bit of a headache, but we have been here long enough that people make it work. We handle seeds for all sorts of crops and plants. Most of our day is spent talking to farmers or people who have a little bit of land they want to grow things on. The bags are heavy and the air always smells a bit like earth and dried grain. It is a quiet kind of work, mostly. We don't use any fancy sales tactics or try to push things people don't need. Usually, someone comes in with a problem like their crop isn't growing right, and we just talk through what might help. The shop itself is quite small and filled with sacks stacked up to the ceiling. We keep a ledger on the main table to track what goes in and out. It’s a very manual process, but it feels right for what we do. Sometimes we sit out front when business is slow and just watch the street life in Raja Park. It is a nice community to be part of. We just do our bit and hope the season turns out okay for everyone.
