Joharilal Phool Chand & Sons

Our place, Joharilal Phool Chand & Sons, is located at VKIA Road Number 8 41621. The name is a bit of a mouthful, but it’s been that way since my grandfather’s time. We are tucked into a corner of the industrial area where things are a bit quieter than the main road. The building is a simple brick structure that we’ve added onto over the years whenever we needed more space. We handle a variety of items, mostly supplies that other businesses in the area need. It’s a family-run operation, through and through. My sons are learning the ropes now, though they spend a lot of time on their phones when I’m not looking. We don't have a fancy lobby for visitors. If you come by, you’ll probably find us in the back checking the crates or talking to a driver. We keep our records in big ledger books because that’s what we’re used to, even if the kids keep telling us to go digital. The yard outside is usually full of empty pallets and a stray dog that we feed sometimes. We aren't trying to change the world or anything. We just want to provide what people ask for and make sure the count is right when they leave. It’s a lot of physical labor and long hours, but we’ve been doing it so long it’s just part of who we are. We're just a family trying to keep the business going for another generation.
