Sabb

Our shop, Sabb, is located at 90/114 Patel Marg, right in the heart of Tripolia Bazar in Poonamallee. It is a very crowded area with people constantly moving past the door. The shop is quite narrow and long. We have things stacked all the way to the ceiling in some parts. It can be a bit overwhelming if you are not used to it. We spend most of the day on our feet. Tripolia Bazar is a lively place to be, but it is definitely not quiet. There is always music playing from somewhere or people shouting in the street. We have been at this address for a long time. The floor is made of old stone and it is a bit uneven. We do not bother with fancy displays or lighting. We just put everything out where people can see it. Sometimes it takes a while to find exactly what someone is looking for, but we usually get there. We know all the other shopkeepers on Patel Marg. We often share tea in the afternoons. It is a simple way of working. There are no big corporate rules or complicated systems here. We just open up in the morning and stay until the bazar starts to quiet down in the evening. Poonamallee is our home and this is where we do our work. It is just a small part of the busy market life here.
