Creative Fashion India

Creative Fashion India is our workshop located at Ad-1B on Kabir Marg in the Bani Park area. Bani Park is a bit more relaxed than the city center, which helps when you’re trying to think of new designs. Our space is usually filled with rolls of fabric and loose threads all over the floor. It’s a bit of a mess, but that’s how we work best. We have a few sewing machines going most of the day. The sound of the needles is like background music for us. We don’t follow the big trends you see in magazines. We just make clothes that we think people will actually want to wear. Sometimes we spend all day just picking out the right colors for a single pattern. It’s a small team here. We all do a bit of everything, from cutting the cloth to packing the boxes. The office part is just a desk in the corner piled with sketches and invoices. We’ve been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change, but our routine stays the same. We drink a lot of tea and try to stay on top of our orders. It’s not a high-fashion runway kind of place. It’s just a workshop where people work hard with their hands. We like the tactile feel of the materials. It’s satisfying to see a pile of fabric turn into a finished garment. We just keep sewing and designing, day in and day out.
