Titu Enterprises

Located at CC-207 in the Gol Market area of Jawahar Nagar, our place is basically just a lot of shelves and boxes. Titu Enterprises has been around here for a while, and if you walked in, you’d see we don’t really bother with fancy decorations or matching furniture. The desk is old and the edges are chipped, but it works fine for writing out receipts. Most of the day is spent checking what we have in stock and moving crates around so we can find what someone asked for. It gets a bit hot in the afternoons when the sun beats down on the market, so we usually have a fan going that rattles a little too much. Customers come in looking for specific items, and sometimes it takes a minute to dig them out from the back. We know most of the people who live around here by name now. It isn't a high-tech operation; we use paper notebooks to keep track of most things because it's just easier than staring at a computer screen all day. The floor is concrete and we sweep it every morning, but the dust from the street always finds its way back in by noon. We just open the shutters, sit on the stools, and wait to see who needs something today. It’s a simple way to run a business, and we like the routine of the Gol Market life. It isn't much, but it’s our daily life here.
