The Dance

Our studio, which we just call The Dance, is located at E 54 in the Anandpuri area of Raja Park. It’s a lively neighborhood with a lot of people coming and going. The studio itself is a pretty simple setup. We have a large room with wooden floors and mirrors along the walls, which is where all the action happens. It’s not one of those fancy, high-end fitness centers you see in the expensive parts of town. We’ve got a small area where people can leave their bags and a couple of fans to keep the air moving. When classes are on, the music can get pretty loud, and you can feel the floor vibrate a bit. We’ve been here in Raja Park for a while and have seen all sorts of people walk through the door. Some are really good and others are just starting out, but everyone is here for the same reason. We spend a lot of time sweeping the floors and making sure the sound system is working right. It’s a very hands-on kind of place. We don't have a big corporate office or a staff in suits. It’s just us and the students. Sometimes the mirrors get foggy when the room is full, and the entrance is a bit hard to find if you’re not looking for the E 54 sign. But we like the character of the place. It’s a local studio with a lot of heart and not much fuss.
