Being in Johari Bazar is something else, especially at number 282. It’s crowded every single day and the noise from the rickshaws never really stops until late at night. We’ve been sitting in this spot for a long time now, dealing with all the Tata Indicom stuff. It’s a small space, mostly filled with papers and some old chairs for people to sit on while they wait. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it because there is always someone coming in with a question about their connection or a bill they do not understand. We spend a lot of our time just looking out at the street, watching the tourists walk by and the locals haggling for jewelry nearby. It’s hot in the summer, even with the fan going full blast, but that’s just life in this part of Jaipur. We don't have any big flashy signs, just the name on the door and a lot of familiar faces that stop by just to say hello. Sometimes the internet is slow or the power flickers, and we just have to sit there and wait for it to come back on like everyone else in the bazar. It isn't a fancy office, just a place to get work done and talk to the people who live around here. We just try to keep things moving and help out the folks who wander in for help.
