Tambi Traders

Tambi Traders is located at Brahmpuri, specifically in the area known as Mangori Walon Ki Bagichi, house number 228. This part of Jaipur has a lot of history and the lanes are quite narrow. We have our storage and workspace here, and it is usually piled high with whatever we are trading at the time. It is a traditional setup. We don't have air conditioning or fancy chairs; we just have a space that works for us. Most of our neighbors have been here for generations, so it feels like a real community. We spend our mornings talking to suppliers and our afternoons sorting through stock. The Bagichi area is a bit tucked away, so it is quieter than the main roads, which we like. We don't go in for big advertisements or try to sound like a big corporation. We are just local traders who have been doing this for a long time. Sometimes the monkeys on the roof make a lot of noise, and we have to shoo them away. Life here is slow but steady. We know our regulars and they know where to find us. It’s a very simple way of doing business, based on being in the same spot at 228 Brahmpuri every single day. We don't need much more than a ledger and a place to keep our goods safe. The wooden door to our shop has been there as long as I can remember.
