Suresh Battery Service Centre

We are located at the Samod Bus Stand on Ajitgarh Road here in Dhavali. Being right by the bus stand means it is always noisy and dusty from the tires spinning. Our shop, Suresh Battery Service Centre, is where we spend most of our daylight hours. Usually, the floor is covered in a bit of grease and we have batteries of all sizes lined up against the walls. Some are for big trucks and others are just for small bikes. We spend a lot of time checking water levels in cells or hooking up chargers to units that have gone flat. It is a simple setup with a few benches and some old tools that have seen better days. When a farmer comes in from the nearby fields because his tractor won’t kick over, we take a look and see if the battery can be saved. We don't have fancy waiting rooms or anything like that. People just stand around and talk while we work. The sun hits the front of the shop pretty hard in the afternoon, so we usually have a cloth hanging to keep the heat out. We keep track of everything in a big handwritten register on the main desk. It's just a regular local spot where we try to stay busy and help out the people driving through or living around Dhavali. We’ve been at this location for a good while now and know the rhythm of the road.
