Suraj Trading

Suraj Trading is located on Station Road, occupying units 304 and 305. Being near the station means it’s always hectic. There are people rushing by all the time, and the sound of horns is just something you get used to. Our office is more of a storage space with some desks pushed into the corners. We deal in various goods, mostly wholesale stuff that comes in big crates. It’s a lot of lifting and moving things around. The stairs up to the third floor can be a bit of a climb, especially when the elevator is acting up, which happens more often than we’d like. We don't have fancy air conditioning, just some ceiling fans that hum all day long. The walls are lined with files and samples of things we’ve traded over the years. It’s not a place for a fancy meeting; it’s a place where we talk on the phone and write down orders on paper pads. We’ve been on Station Road for a long time, so we know the rhythm of the place. Lunch is usually brought from home and eaten at the desk. We don't use any complicated systems, just ledgers and our memory. It’s a bit cramped when we get a big shipment in, but we manage. It’s just a regular trading business, nothing more, nothing less. We keep it simple and keep moving through the stack of invoices on the table. Some evenings the noise is too much but we stay until finished.
