About Sur Taal Music Training Institute – Education in Jaipur
Mahesh Nagar is a busy area, and we are right in the middle of it at B-305. Being Sur Taal Music Training Institute means there is almost always some kind of noise coming out of our rooms. It might be someone practicing a scale or just a teacher explaining something for the tenth time that morning. We have a small space here, but it works for what we need. The stairs up to B-305 are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying a big instrument case. We’ve got a couple of rooms set up with basic stuff. It isn’t the most modern place you’ll ever see. The walls have some marks and the floor is a bit worn from all the feet coming through. We don't spend much time worrying about the decor. Most of the time is spent listening and correcting. Sometimes the humidity makes the instruments act up, which is a real pain in a place like Mahesh Nagar. We just deal with it. It’s a regular routine here. Doors open early and we stay until the last student heads home. It feels like a second home to a few of us. You get used to the sounds of different songs clashing in the hallway. That is just life at the institute. We keep the schedule on a messy whiteboard near the entrance. It’s simple and it works for us.
