Sky Industries

Sky Industries is located in B.L Tower 2 over in Mahaveer Nagar. We are right off Tonk Road in Durgapura. It’s a pretty busy part of town, so there is always a lot of noise and movement going on outside our windows. We occupy a decent space here where we manage all our daily operations. It isn't a factory floor right in this building; it's more of a place where we handle the orders and talk to the suppliers on the phone. Most of us have been here for a few years now, so we know the rhythms of the place and the neighbors. The traffic on Tonk Road can be a nightmare in the evenings, but being centrally located helps us get things moved around easier during the day. Inside, it’s just a regular workplace. We have some samples of what we make sitting on the shelves, and there are always stacks of ledgers nearby. We don't use much fancy software for the day-to-day work; we prefer writing things down and keeping track manually when we can. It feels more reliable that way. People stop in occasionally to ask about what we do, and we just tell them we make stuff for industry. We aren't into big marketing campaigns or flashy logos. We just keep our heads down and make sure the shipments go out when they are supposed to. The tea stall downstairs is where we spend our breaks. It’s a practical life, working in the middle of Durgapura.
