Simran Nritya Kala Academy

Our academy is located in Jhotwara, at Satya Nagar 6. It is a lively spot because there is almost always music playing or the sound of feet hitting the floor. We are not a massive institution with hundreds of rooms. It is just a nice, open space where people come to learn dance and art. The floors are a bit scuffed from years of practice, but we think that gives the place a bit of heart. We have some large mirrors on the walls and a few old benches where people can sit and wait for their classes to start. Since it gets quite warm during the practice sessions, we keep the windows open to let the breeze in from the street. Jhotwara is a friendly area, and most of the people who come here live nearby in the neighborhood. We do not spend money on big advertisements or fancy brochures. People usually find out about us because they hear the music while walking past or a neighbor tells them about what we do. The office is just a small corner with a desk that is usually buried under schedules and music players. It is a bit disorganized at times, but we know where everything is. We enjoy the energy that the students bring into the building every single day. It is a simple life dedicated to teaching and practicing.
