Shubham Electronics

Down in the basement at Indira Bazar B-3, that’s where you’ll find Shubham Electronics. It’s a bit of a trek down the stairs, and it can get a little dim if the lights aren't all on, but we’ve made it our own little corner. Being in the basement means it stays a bit cooler in the summer, which is a big relief when the Rajasthan heat gets bad outside. We handle all sorts of electronic stuff here. From small wires and plugs to bigger gadgets that need a steady hand, there’s always something spread out on the workbench. Indira Bazar is always packed with people, so there's a constant hum of the market coming from above. We mostly spend our time looking through magnifying glasses at circuit boards or trying to find that one specific spare part in a drawer full of bits and pieces we've collected over the years. It’s not the most organized looking place, but we know exactly where everything is kept. People bring in their old radios or some modern gadget that just stopped working for no reason. We take a look, see what can be done, and give them an honest answer. Sometimes we stay late when a repair is particularly tricky and requires more focus. The stairs can be a bit steep for some of the older folks, so we often end up going up to the street to meet customers if they’re carrying something heavy. It's a steady, quiet life down here. We don't have big signs or flashing lights, just our name and a lot of tools.
