Shri Vinyak Timbers

Shri Vinyak Timbers is tucked away in Sanganer Sector 18, right on Kumbha Marg. If you come by, you’ll probably smell the wood before you even see the sign. We have stacks of timber piled up all over the yard, and there is always a layer of sawdust on everything. We spend our days measuring planks and moving heavy pieces of wood around. It’s a noisy place with the saws going, but we are used to it by now. The area around Kumbha Marg is always busy with tractors and carts coming and going. We don't have a fancy office with air conditioning. We mostly just stay out where the wood is. We talk to carpenters and builders who need specific sizes for their projects. Sometimes we have to hunt through the stacks to find the right piece that isn't warped or knotted too badly. It is honest work that leaves your hands rough at the end of the day. We have been in Sanganer for a good while, so we know most of the people who come in. We don't try to be anything we aren't. We are just a timber yard where you can get what you need without much fuss. The sun beats down on the yard in the summer, and we just keep drinking water and moving the wood. It’s a simple life that depends on the quality of the trees and the strength of our backs.
