Raja Park is always a busy place, and our shop at 137 is right in the middle of it. We spend most of our day looking at screens or fixing small parts that people dropped. It’s a small space, so it gets tight when three or four people come in at once. We have those glass counters filled with all sorts of things like chargers, cables, and some phones. There is usually some music playing in the background from a neighbor’s shop. People come in with cracked screens or phones that just won’t turn on. We tell them what we think is wrong and how long it might take. Sometimes we have to wait for a part to arrive, and the customer has to come back the next day. It is nothing special, just a regular mobile shop. We don’t have a big team, just a couple of us who know how to handle the tools. The lighting is a bit bright because we need to see those tiny screws. Sometimes we forget to eat lunch on time because someone comes in with an emergency. We drink a lot of chai to keep going. The street outside is noisy with scooters and cars honking all the time. If you are looking for the place, look for the sign near the corner. It has been here for years, and we know most of the people who live around Raja Park. We just do our work and then we go home.
