We have been running things here on Khatipura Road for a good while now. The shop is mostly full of spare parts and tools scattered around. People bring in their old televisions or maybe a mixer that stopped spinning. It gets crowded inside when we have several big projects going at once. We don't really have a big staff, just a couple of us who know how to handle the wires. If something is broken, we take it apart and see what’s wrong. Sometimes it’s just a loose connection or a blown fuse. We try to be honest about whether it’s worth fixing or if it’s time to get a new one. The street outside is always busy, so there’s plenty of foot traffic. We usually have the radio on while we work on the circuit boards. It’s dusty work but someone has to do it. Customers usually come in after work to pick up their items. We keep a logbook to track what’s coming in and out. It’s not a high-tech system but it works for us. We’ve seen how electronics have changed from the bulky sets to the thin ones now. It’s a lot of learning as we go. We keep the shop open until late evening most days. It’s just a regular local business trying to keep things running for the folks living nearby. We don't make things complicated for anyone who walks in.
