Shree Shyam Fruit & Vegetable Store is situated at 1- B Everest Colony. You can find us on Pankaj Singhvi Marg in the Lal Kothi area. We have been selling fruits and vegetables here for a long time now. Every morning we have to get up very early to get the fresh stock from the main market. It is a lot of physical work carrying the heavy crates and setting everything up before the sun gets too high. Lal Kothi is a busy part of town and we get a lot of foot traffic. Our shop is right on the street so it gets quite dusty with the wind blowing. We are always cleaning the produce to keep it looking okay for the neighbors. We have some regulars who come every single morning for their greens. We know what they like and what they usually avoid. The space we have is quite tight, so we pile the crates up high. Sometimes things fall over, but that is just part of the job. We don't have any fancy displays or bright lights. It is just the food and us. The prices change almost every day based on what we pay at the market. We just tell people the price when they ask. It is an honest living and we have been doing it for years. We don't really think about expanding. We just want to sell what we have and go home.
